Non-normative Bodies is a project that examined the relationship between stress, dance / movement and the human body. Movement therapies as a tool of accepting one’s own bodies and gender identities, which are not presented in society and the media as a “standard of beauty”. The aim of the project was to find proven links between specific therapy and cortisol levels in the bodies of the performers. Also find one technique that will help reduce stress the most and create a positive relationship with our different bodies. Give space to those who are not so represented. For professional supervision of dance, jacobra invited dancer and choreographer Eduard Adam Orszulík and therapist Marianne Mboussa. Research expertise is provided by Ing Kristýna Machová PhD. from the University of Agriculture in Prague. The project is in cooperation with the New Aliens Agency.
Results from the research will be announced during October 2021.
