JaCobra is a visual artist who works in many creative fields. From fine arts and performance to photography and art direction. He/she is a director of the New Aliens Agency, creative director of the SOTC label and co-founder of the Fluido party. He/she graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with MA in Photography and New Media.

He/she has long and intensively devote him/her self to the body as the central phenomenon of his/her work. He/she has also long documented the queer community, creating portraits of young LGBTQ+ people, and exhibited in New York, Rome, Paris, Jerusalem and other cities around the world. Identifies him/her self as a nonbinary person, and currently works between Prague and Paris.

JaCobra graduated from the High School of Art and Design in Brno, where learned the classic craft of analog photography together with applied advertising photography. Already during his/her high school studies, he/she dealt with themes like self-portraits and the relationship between the human body and identity, along with the definition of beauty.

In 2015, started to study at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague – FAMU, where he/she developed intermedia thinking under the guidance of Štěpánka Šimlová. Since 2017, he/she has been under the direction of Hynek Alt in the New Media studio, where he/she has improved conceptual thinking in hybrid projects. JaCobra was interested in relationship between technology and human body, post-identity and sometimes did 3D projects. At the same time this year, co-founded the New Aliens Agency, where he/she became the head of the modeling section and created the complete visual of the agency.

Furthermore, in 2017, he/she was at Studio Vortex residency under the direction of Antoine d’Agata, where he/she consolidated his/her visual language and researched the theme of the human body as a living medium of everyday existence. In the summer of the same year, JaCobra was preparing the first big solo exhibition abroad, in New York with the SOTC project. This year he/she also worked closely with the well-known singer Jana Uriel Kratochvílová. Together they created a video that was screen during her concert.

In 2018, JaCobra created a successful fashion merchandise for Jägermeister together with the MyDearClothing brand. He/she founded the label Sperm on the Clothes (SOTC) together with Michaela Mazalová in 2015. SOTC is a collaborative genderfluid fashion label. This year, his/her photo also appeared on the cover of FlashArt magazine. JaCobra also deals with the topic of nightlife and the club scene, not only in photographs, but also in real life with live events, which they started organizing in Prague in 2018 under the auspices of an agency such as Alien Prayer Party, followed by the Fludio party with Markéta Vutru.

In 2019, he/she began working closely with singer Giudi, first with styling, visuals and photography, but later took also over the art direction of their music videos and also directed two of them. In the music industry, JaCobra also collaborated with singers like Piqi Miqi or Bad Gyal. This year the agency was selected by Wallet magazine (issue 6) as one of the 10 most progressive modeling agencies in the world.

In 2020, JaCobra completed an exchange program at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he/she continued to work with themes like gender, social constructs, mental health and started to more document people from queer community. Also he/she was focused on video works under the direction of Alain Della Negra and Brice Dellsperger. In Paris, met with Evelyn Mora, who chose him/her as an assistant and invited to join the creative team of Helsinki Fashion Week 2020, where he/she was mainly in charge of visual communication on social media and model casting. As a result, the New Aliens Agency became the first modeling agency in the world to scan its models and rank them at the first fully digital fashion week in history.

During 2021 he/she completed a MA degree at FAMU with a project which is a children’s book – Barevné Pohádky. The book has an activist subtext with its four fairy tales about ,,otherness”, mostly LGBTQ+ community.

JaCobra was in charge for several dozen art-activist projects, which he/she has organized in the Czech Republic together with the New Aliens Agency and other organizations (Elpida for seniors, Amnesty International, Petrohradská Kolektiv, Dětský domov v Horní Plané, ZVUK, Prague Biennale Projekt, Prague Pride) in the last five years.
